What prompted my question is that I am truly surprised more men don't have vascectomies and more wives/SOs don't pressure them to do so so that they can get off birth control, etc. So I was wondering if there was this possible down side to it that some women would think about -- or should think about. I didn't ask about women with tubals because there are so few of them doing it since it's a much bigger procedure.
