The way I found the article is a female profiler tweeted that it disgusted her or something to that effect. I mean, no one said they didn't love their kids or that the kids didn't bring them joy. It just analyzed how the worse off they felt their situation, the more they felt compelled to try to make it seem better than it was. Which is so true.

I loved the comment "It takes a village - if you really believe this, then don't have kids and just help someone else's kids." hahahah. So true. It only takes a village if you HAVE kids. Otherwise no one wants to be part of the village.

I found the article interesting. I think the "joy" side of parenting gets more emphasized as it is more of a choice.
