In the news today, tennis pro David Ferrer, during the semifinal match in Florida, became irritated with a crying baby in the stands and lobbed a tennis ball its way, after which he was booed by the crowd. Keeping in mind the ball didn't come at all close to the baby - if he'd wanted to hit it, being a tennis pro, he probably could have. He was making a statement -- and good for him. A panel was discussing it on the Joy Behar show, and they also ventured into discussion about how babies shouldn't be in restaurants and on planes. The comedian Jay something said if they can't afford a baby sitter and they want to go out places kids shouldn't be all the time, they shouldn't have had kids. Nice to know there is some support in the mainstream media for our side of the equation. The same comedian said he was tired of hearing parents whine that they have "every right to be there," which he said was beside the point.
