I am so pissed. I had to move my personal blogs when GOOGLE changed its privacy policies, so I moved them to Wordpress. Not 3 weeks later, they deleted one of my blogs. When I went to support to ask about it, one of them said it was probably a mistake and to be patient and since I'm not a paying member, I was low on the totem pole. Then I wrote back asking if they were going to F up my other blog too. Then I started backing it up and looking for a new blog server. So yes, just a few days later, they terminated my account so i can't sign in -- but they left my personal blog up where everyone can see it and I presume comment on it unattended!! What incompetent losers!!
There is a new blog I'm trying out called Weebly. I hope if they have a problem, they are professional enough to drop me an email rather than destroying all my hard work and stealing my copyrighted material for their own. Weebly is good because although it's a bit of work, you can use site counters and you can change colors and stuff pretty easily. I liked livejournal ok because it's easy, but then I did all that and found out I couldn't use a site counter, and since no one comments on mine very often but a few people read it, I need to see who's reading it.

Stupid me. I should be checking Google's new privacy policy.

Yeah, their new policy is insidious. The ad part isn't what bothers me, it's that for example if you have a google email for only business and then you have, say, a social page or blog under a completely different identity, they will invite everyone to come see all your other stuff! They no longer allow you to keep your IDs self-contained, and in fact they are saying they will probably put everything under one name of yours that they pick.
