It absolutely makes me ill. Now, I do realize you get used to it if it's your kid, as I have gotten somewhat used to my dogs occasional drool, but I do go to some lengths to avoid a very drooly breed, I admit. Dammit, babies do NOT belong in restaurants or anywhere where adults want some peace. Babies crap their diapers, which is a HUGE e-coli hazard. I think for this reason alone anyone in diapers should be banned -- and kids should NOT be allowed to approach a buffet. They're too uncouth. It's NASTY. And I am not finicky. But I have my limits. Boogers and dirty hands and faces and drooling and farting at the table should NOT be allowed.
I just can't even look their way while I'm eating. I know better. Remember a couple of months ago, I had my back to a table and SOMEONE (it was 4 adults and one baby) began making farty noises and kept it up for 10 minutes. I lost my appetite.

Haha. Well, the older me and my friends get, the more lax I have to be on this rule.

I, unfortunately, have developed a taste for McDonalds. I can't take it home with me (it'll get cold before I get there), I don't have a car to eat it in, and with my country's crappy weather, I'm most of the time forced to eat it in the building. I won't complain about the presence of children in McDonalds, but I wish their parents would make them behave. Not for me, but for the sanity of the employees, who all walk around with pale faces and a look that says oh-dear-god-just-kill-me-now.

That's one thing I don't get... I know it's "just" McDonalds, but why is it okay to let your kid be a total arsehole* there? It's still a public place. It's still a business. Hell, it's a business where the employees make minimum wage to deal with what higher-paid jobs don't have to... It may be popular and kid friendly; especially advertising their playplaces, but I still don't get it.
*edited cuz apparently the censor changes the real pottymouth word to "not a very nice person" and it made me laugh. And edit it.

That guy sounds sad and a bit bitter, as if he's envious of the daters enjoying their food, and as if he did not have a choice to choose to breed. Pathetic, and in need of some education- "child free and breeding are two choices, nothing thats beyond anyone's control. We're higher order thinking humans, and unlike animals, we can choose or not to choose those things". I'm a firm believer in a child free section at a restaurant, or an age limit at least.
