Standard disclaimer applies: I am not affiliated with these websites in any way, nor do I benefit from mentioning them. I just thought they might be of use to someone here. Anyhow. Today while mindlessly surfing the net (Free time is great when you are CF! ;D ) I came across two financial planning websites that seem to be very highly rated. www.mint.com and www.geezeo.com. Basically these are websites that allow you to link up your various savings/checking/loan/investment accounts and create budgets. You can see detailed graphs/charts of what your spending habits are. There is so much that you can do on these websites it really blows me away. You can set spending and saving goals, too much neat stuff to list here. I signed up for an account on one of the websites and even though I am a broke college student, it looks like it is going to be very helpful in helping me not overspend on going out to eat and things like that. There's plenty of financial advice and I don't know about anyone else here, but having a place that shows a graph of where my money goes every month is kind of sobering! Hope this helps someone out - after all, it is never too early or too late to start managing your money! OH! I forgot to mention the best part! These are absolutely FREE.
