About childbirth. www.cracked.com/article_16508_6-terrifying-things-they-dont-tell-you-about-childbirth.htmlCracked.com is known for its snarky humor, but this article is spot-on. In the interest of taste, I will just provide the link. There's nothing NSFW on the site, just some nasty details that Hollywood and others conveniently leave out of the whole 'miracle of birth' thing. For those of you who are definitely childfree, this is a great reaffirmation. For those of you who are fencesitters, well...I just thought you should have all the facts next time you get a case of Fetus Fever. Any thoughts? Discuss?

OMG - did anyone click on the link to a pic of the actual placenta? I'm going to have nightmares now. Why? Why did I do it?

LOL! Seeing a placenta actually being passed out is one of the first things that made me reconsider motherhood.

Wow. That placenta thing was NASTY!!! My mom was always upfront on telling me how bad my delivery was and how patience was not a part of my personality, so I shouldn't have kids. Oddly enough, she doesn't like babies. I asked her why she had me a while ago and she said, "Well, I WANTED you - I don't want all these other brats I see every day." ;D I love my mommy. But I don't want to be a mommy.
