go.fark.com/cgi/fark/go.pl?i=3841573&l=http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26496189/Unfriggenbelievable. Where are all the Conservatives to bash this? You know they would be if it was the Dem side. All the extreme christians should be condemning the entire family. 17 year old unmarried girl sinfully gets pregnant, and the conservative parents are PROUD? PROUD?!?!? Guarantee the wedding was the rents idea just to try and say "look we're doing the right thing". WTF?

Palin doesn't believe in abortion under any circumstances.
She also opposes sex education and contraception and stresses Abstinence only.
EPIC FAIL
It's things like this that make me so angry. If it was a Democrat's family that this happened to all the conservatives would be all over them, saying everything they could to make it look like they were evil people but because it's one of their own, its ok to be proud of your stupid ass daughter.
The hypocrisy is what irritates me to no end.

I think it's hillariously ironic. Miss "Do As I Say, Don't Do As I Do," wants to dictate to me that I shouldn't use bc for my severe PMDD, yet when someone stands up and calls her out, she cries foul. Well, waaaa, waaaaa, waaaa, this is politics. People aren't gonna give you a pass cause you spawned. One thing that bothers me this woman has a baby with downs syndrome. I can tell you from first-hand experience being someone with a disability, that this child is gonna need all the support it can get, not moomy running off trying to run everyone else's business, except her own.

Palin just had her 5th kid in April and he has Down's Syndrome. The conservatives are patting her on the back for choosing not to abort. In the warped conservative mind - this 'feel good' moment cancels out the 'bad' preggo daughter.
Even Stevens. Next.

That is another very valid point.
5 kids and you're gonna be the VP? How about raising your family!?!?!?!

I laughed when I saw this yesterday, and was talking about it at work today. A co worker said that this is a good thing for McCain and Palin because it would give the single moms the warm fuzzies to vote for them. PUKE. It cracks me up because Sarah Palin doesnt believe in abortion, so OF COURSE she is thrilled that her 17 year old daughter is knocked up and going to be a grandmother at 44, with a 5 month old with Downs to take care of.

Let me get this straight.... five kids, one of them with Down syndrome, one of them a teenmom who will very likely try to get you to babysit whenever she can (got to be supportive, right?), and you still think you can be a good president? Note how I say "president" and not "vice president", since McCain is very close to the average male expiration date and chances are you'll have to do his job.
Epic FAIL.

Can you imagine being Bristol Palin? Being a teen sucks enough, as we all know, but being a teen who's knocked up sucks on infinitely more levels, as we can all imagine. But this is just unfathomable to me. So, even if Bristol WANTED an abortion, she can't exercise her right to choose because her mom is running for office and they have to 'do the right thing.' It's not even her decision what to do with her own body. APPALLING. On top of having to be sentenced at a VERY young age to a life of servitude as a mother, she has to MARRY the sperm donor??? A couple of teens who slept together are NOT ready for marriage. Who says they even like each other now? The guy is not even being called a boyfriend, so who knows? It could be a random hookup thing. Personally, I'm not buying the whole 'our daughter came to us and said she wants to keep the baby and marry the baby's father' crap. What teen honestly wants this? I'd be curious to see how Bristol (STUPID name, by the way...all the Palin kids have stupid names) TRULY feels about all of this. A teen FORCED to carry a child to term is not the type of person who needs to be having kids in the first place!! And, like it or not, her pregnancy IS a political issue. She is also the last person, apparently, to have a say in this matter. I also find it funny how certain sins are more serious than others, at least as far as the GOP is concerned. There is selective hypocrisy going on here. Pre-marital sex? BAD. TERRIBLE. AN ABOMINATION. How about abortion? EVEN WORSE. Even though neither act is embraced by the religious right, the first is at least acceptable, so long as one does not dare go for the second. So, it's good that Bristol is taking responsibility for her actions. She's making the best decision in light of her mistake. The lesser of two evils kinda thing, I guess. Personally, I'd love to see Bristol proudly have an abortion and go out and live the rest of her life, and not have to suffer for her youthful indiscretion just so that her mother can save face. This situation is f**ked from the word go.

Yes, very nicely put, Doug.
I heard on the radio (Tom Leykis) that they want the media to "respect their privacy". His answer was great,
"You want respect? F YOU!" Totally. After all the comments on every little thing the demos do wrong?! They want PRIVACY?! HA. HA. HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!
Oh yea, I also heard the juicy little tidbit that Levy or whatever the he!! the sperm donor's name is, had a Myspace page on which he put he "didn't want kids"... Naturally they took it down. HAHAHAHAAHAAA!!! Whatta buncha crap.

I used to listen to Tom years ago, only because I found it on accident, I have to find him again, I agreed with everything he said. I feel bad for Bristol, honestly. I really think HER MOTHER should have kept her trap shut. If BRISTOL wanted it to be public knowledge, she could have said something. What if she isnt thrilled about being pregnant...thats a big "thanks, MA!" And I read that about the boyfriend/fiance/sperm donor whatever that he doesnt want kids. Good going there, its called a CONDOM, dingbat. Unless Bristol is turning 18 tomorrow, Im sure he met Bristols parents and figured out their views on teen pregnancy, because obviously Bristols feelings arent considered. The whole situation is sad now that a few days have gone by.

Well, it's not like she could hide it. She's showing already. And even if she wasn't, it'd be known sooner or later.
